The Florida Department of Transportation, District One is pleased to officially transmit the Adopted Work Program for FY2022-2026. This document was made possible through the partnership with our M/TPOs, Counties, and Municipalities. A significant vetting process was followed prior to the adoption of this document by the State Legislature during the 2021 legislative session, which is identified below. The document was adopted by Governor DeSantis and subsequently by the Florida Department of Transportation Secretary, Kevin J. Thibault in July 2021. In preparing the Final Tentative Work Program for the State Fiscal Years 2022-2026, projects within your Metropolitan/Transportation Planning Organization’s jurisdiction that had been added, rescheduled, or deleted were presented for your review in February of 2021.
The Draft Tentative Work Program was made available to the M/TPO’s in District One during the months of early January of 2021. An ePublic Hearing was held during the week of January 11, 2021 through January 15, 2021 with a face to face meeting done on January 12, 2021. No changes to the Draft Tentative Work Program resulted from these series of Public Hearings and presentations.
The Metropolitan/Transportation Planning Organizations received copies of the Draft Tentative Work Program for FY2022 – FY2026 and a Summary of Changes for the same document in January of 2021. Comments were requested to be sent back to District One by January 15th, 2021. No changes to the Tentative Work Program resulted from these comments.
