The Lee County Metropolitan Planning Organization invited the public to attend their Federal Certification Review Kick-off Meeting on April 30, 2018, at 5:00 p.m.  The meeting was held at 815 Nicholas Parkway East, Room 200
Cape Coral, FL 33990.



The Lee County Metropolitan Planning Organization (MPO) is being reviewed by the Federal Highway Administration (FHWA) and the Federal Transit Administration (FTA) to assure the MPO’s activities, practices, and policies are in compliance with Federal policies and laws.

The MPO is responsible for establishing priorities to meet short-term (next 5 years) and long-term (20+ years) multi-modal transportation needs. The public meeting is an important part of the federal review process that is required every four years for Transportation Management Areas (TMA).
