THE MPO BOARD APPROVED AMENDMENTS TO THE MPO’S
FY 2020/2021 THROUGH FY 2024/2025 TRANSPORTATION IMPROVEMENT
PROGRAM (TIP) AND THE FY 2021/FY 2022 UNIFIED PLANNING WORK PROGRAM
The Lee County Metropolitan Planning Organization Board held a Public Hearing to approve
amendments to the FY 2020/2021 through FY 2024/2025 Transportation Improvement Program (TIP)
to add a Wrong Way Driving safety project to various ramps in Lee County and to revise the amount of
transit planning funding received. The meeting was held at 9:00am at the Lee County Administration
East Facility, 2201 Second Street, Room 118, Fort Myers, Florida. This location is accessible by transit
using LeeTran Route 20 or the Gold Trolley Route, and more information on service can be found at
www.rideleetran.com. The Lee County Metropolitan Planning Organization Board also held a Public
Hearing for an amendment to the Unified Planning Work Program (UPWP) to remove the state and
local match for the transit planning funds in the MPO’s budget tables. Additional details on the

Written comments that were received by the end of the business day on Thursday, March 18, 2021 will be presented to the MPO Board members on March 19, 2021, where the amendments will be decided. Public comments may also be made at the meeting on March 19, 2021 at 9:00am located at the Lee County Administration East Facility, 2201 Second Street, Room 118, Fort Myers, Florida.
