THE MPO BOARD APPROVDED THE AMENDMENT TO THE
MPO’S FY 2020/2021 THROUGH FY 2024/2025 TRANSPORTATION IMPROVEMENT
PROGRAM (TIP) TO ADD FTA SECTION 5310 GRANT FUNDING FOR LEETRAN
The Lee County Metropolitan Planning Organization held a Public Hearing for the amendment
of the FY 2020/2021 through FY 2024/2025 Transportation Improvement Program on December
18, 2020 at 9:00 a.m. The meeting was held at the Lee County Administration East Facility, 2201
Second Street, Room 118, Fort Myers, Florida. This location is accessible by transit by LeeTran Route
20 or the Gold Trolley Route, and more information on service can be found at www.rideleetran.com.
The amendment that the MPO Board will consider includes adding Federal Transit Administration
Section 5310 grant funding for LeeTran in the current fiscal year. The total amount of funding that is
being added is $200,000 that will be used for operating assistance and the project TIP page information can be viewed here: TIP AMENDMENT

December 18, 2020, where the amendment will be decided. Public comments may also be made at the

Second Street, Room 118, Fort Myers, Florida.
