MPO board members appoint local citizens to the CAC. Bringing the public’s perspective to the decision-making process, the CAC’s members make recommendations to the MPO board about project priorities for state and federal funding in FDOT’s five year work program, proposed long-range transportation plans, project plans, program plans, and other transportation issues. The CAC usually meets on the first Thursday of the month at 3:00 p.m. in the Green Room of the Cape Coral Public Works Building, 815 Nicholas Parkway East, Cape Coral, FL.
