The Lee County Metropolitan Planning Organization (MPO) will hold a public hearing on September 18, 2026 at 9:00 a.m., at the Lee County Administration East Building located at 2201 Second Street in Room 118, to amend the FY 2026/2027 through 2030/2031 Transportation Improvement Program (TIP) to add the roll forward report. The roll forward report includes transportation projects that are scheduled to be authorized in the prior approved TIP by June 30th, but for various reasons the projects did not get authorized, completed or the project funding was not fully expended. These projects are now being added to the new TIP and the roll forward report for review can be found at the following link: TIP AMENDMENTS. Copies of the TIP document are available by contacting the MPO offices at 239-244-2220. Written comments may be submitted by e-mail to dscott@leempo.com or mailed to P.O. Box 150045 Cape Coral, FL 33915-0045. Written comments received by 4:30 p.m. on Thursday September 17, 2026 will be presented to the MPO Board members on September 18, 2026 where formal approval will be decided. Public comments may also be made in person at the MPO Board meeting on September 18, 2026 that begins at 9:00a.m. at the Lee County Administration East Facility, 2201 Second Street, Room 118, Fort Myers, Florida.
