Due to a lack of quorum at the public hearing that was scheduled on September 19, the MPO is bringing back the public hearing items from that meeting.
The Lee County Metropolitan Planning Organization (MPO) will hold a public hearing on October 17, 2025 at 9:00 a.m., at the Lee County Administration East Building located at 2201 Second Street
in Room 118, to consider amending the MPO’s FY 2025/2026 through FY 2029/2030 Transportation Improvement Program (TIP). The amendments include adding the fiscal year 2025 Roll Forward report
projects, the Eastern Federal Lands project list that includes a Ding Darling project and to increase the MPO Planning funds project to account for additional carry forward funding. An additional public hearing
agenda item will include an amendment to the Unified Planning Work Program (UPWP), the MPO’s budget, to add the MPO carry forward funding and to increase the transit planning funds due to an
increase in federal grant formula funding. Second Street, Room 118, Fort Myers, Florida.
