The Lee County Metropolitan Planning Organization (MPO) will hold a public hearing on January 23,
2026 at 9:00 a.m., at the Lee County Administration East Building located at 2201 Second Street in
Room 118, to consider two agenda items. The public hearing items that the Board will consider include
the following:
- Amendment to the FY 2025/2026 to FY 2029/2030 Transportation Improvement Program (TIP)
that includes adding a federal transit capital grant award for LeeTran in the amount of
$255,000. Additional information on the project is included on the TIP page.
- Approve the updated federal and state project priority list to match the Long Range
Plan changes and recently funded project phases.

The meeting agenda will also include presentations on the Old US 41 Project Development and
Environment Study and the Freight Element report. Additional information on the MPO Board

Facility, 2201 Second Street, Room 118, Fort Myers, Florida.
