The Lee County Metropolitan Planning Organization (MPO) will hold a public hearing on May 17, 2024 at 9:00 a.m., at the Lee County Administration East Building located at 2201 Second Street in Room 118, to consider adopting the MPO’s Fiscal Year 2024/2025 & FY 2025/2026 Unified Planning Work Program (UPWP). The UPWP is the MPO’s budget, and the document can be accessed for review here: DRAFT UPWP The public hearing will also include the review and approval of the Updated Federal and State Priority List. The MPO Board will also consider the following: Updated Shared-Use Non-motorized (SUN) Trail Priority List; and Lee and Collier and Lee and Charlotte-Punta Gorda Transportation Regional Incentive Program (TRIP) Priorities. A review of the draft five year Transportation Improvement Program that includes the Federal and State funded transportation projects in Lee County will also be provided. Written comments received by 5:00 p.m. on Thursday, May 16, 2024 will be presented to the MPO Board members on May 17, 2024 where formal approval will be decided. Public comments may also be made at the MPO Board meeting on May 17, 2024 at 9:00 a.m. at the Lee County Administration East Facility, 2201 Second Street, Room 118, Fort Myers, Florida.
